The Municipality of Koper is modernizing its urban transport fleet

The Municipality of Koper, together with the concessionaire Arriva, d. o. o., continues to improve urban passenger transport. In the coming days, six new vehicles will be introduced to the municipality, gradually replacing the older part of the fleet on lines 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

The urban transport fleet will be supplemented by new, modern Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, which bring a higher level of comfort, greater reliability and better accessibility for users. They provide 12 seats and up to 23 standing places, the possibility of transporting people in wheelchairs, a modern 2.0 diesel engine with a power of 125 kW for efficient and reliable operation and a quieter and more comfortable ride.

The goal of the Municipality of Koper is to provide reliable, accessible and user-friendly urban transport, which is why the new vehicles represent an important upgrade of the service. Arriva also highlights the importance of the investment: “With the new vehicles, we are improving the daily user experience and ensuring a higher level of safety, comfort and accessibility.”

The Municipality of Koper is thus continuing the development of modern and sustainably oriented urban transport that meets the needs of residents and visitors.
