Dear passengers,
Due to road closures during the 24th Poli Marathon, which will take place on 30. 5. 2026 with the start and finish in Ptuj, there will be a change in the route of the city bus.
In order to avoid the closures, the city bus will run on a longer, changed route between the Ptuj AP and Dom pokojencev Ptuj stops. Travel times will be slightly longer as a result.
The following roads will be completely closed at different times:
- At 7:00, Potrčeva cesta will be completely closed from the direction of the city center. The closure will be set up in front of the pedestrian crossing on Potrčeva cesta 1.
- At 7:00, a complete closure will be established at the traffic-controlled intersection on Potrčeva cesta – due to preparation of the area.
- At 7:00, the parking lot on Potrčeva cesta behind the bus station will be completely closed. Entering or leaving the parking lot in the direction of Potrčeva cesta is not allowed.
- At 9:30 a.m., a complete road closure will be established at the intersection of Volkmerjeva cesta and Potrčeva cesta.
- At 9:30 a.m., a complete road closure will be established at the intersection of Gregorčičev drevoreda and Potrčeva cesta.
- At 9:30 a.m., a complete road closure will be established at the intersection of the exit from the General Hospital, PSC Platana and Potrčeva cesta.
- At 9:30 a.m., a complete road closure will be established at the exit from the Župančičeva ulica roundabout in the direction of Potrčeva cesta.
- At 9:30 a.m., a complete road closure will be established at the exit from the parking lot between the blocks of Potrčeva cesta 44 and 46 and Potrčeva 50a.
- At 10:00, a complete closure will be established at the exit from the Živila store parking lot. At 10:00, a complete closure will be established at the intersections of Potrčeva cesta with Osojnikova cesta (at the police station), with Trubarjeva ulica and Krambergerjeva potja, and the exit from the parking lot of Gostilna i avtoplance Raj at Potrčeva 60. Until 10:30, it will still be possible to exit from these points past the Police Station onto Osojnikova cesta. Between 10:45 and approximately 11:15, due to the safety of the large number of cyclists, a complete closure will be established on Slomškova ulica at house number 6 and on Trstenjakova ulica at house number 1. After the official start, the traffic flow will be released from Slomškova ulica – Trstenjakova ulica and vice versa.
