Dear passengers,
We would like to inform you that within the framework of the upcoming Olympic Festival of European Youth Maribor 2023, (OFEM) road closures are planed:
- Wednesday, July 26, 2023 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m
- and Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The closures are necessary for training and the cycling race.
Organized training accompanied by the Slovenian Police will take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the R2 436 section 0440 Dolnja Počehova and R2 436 section 1328 Počehova-Zg. Kungota. The route will also be the same the following day, Thursday, July 27, 2023, when there will be road closures between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. due to the road cycling race.
Due to the bicycle race, there will be disruptions in Arriva buses operation, which have timetables based on the route of the race. Therefore, certain delays are expected in the journeys, and during the closure, buses from the direction of Pesniški Rondo will be diverted along HC to AP Maribor, and for this reason, the stops on Šentiljska cesta will be cancelled. There will be no detours on the route between Kungota and Maribor and the buses will adapt to the situation.
