Dear passengers please be informed that due to the sport event Luka Koper 9. Istrski maraton that will take place on 15. 4. and 16. 4. 2023 operation of public bus transport will change on the area of Municipality Koper, Municipality Izola and Strunjan.

Between 9.00 and 13.30 o’clock will due to the complete road closure of Cankarjev drevored at Izola buses redirected to Prešernova cesta, where 2 supplementary bus stops at OŠ Vojka Šmuc in direction towards Piran and after the new roundabout at the concrete in direction towards Koper.

Municipality Koper
Between 8.15 and 13.30 o’clock, due to closure of Pristaniška ulica, Kopališko nabrežje and Vojkovo nabrežje, operation of city transport lines will change:
- Line 1 – drives from AP Koper-Barka II along Ferrarska till bus stop Stadion and continues according to the valid timetables to Šalara, Kampel. At departures from Kampel (Šalara) buses will drive according to the valid timetables till bus stop Lesnina, along Ferrarska till bus stop PH Sonce-AP Koper;
- Line 2 – drives from AP Koper-Supernova along Ferrarska and road – cesta Z.P. Godina till bus stop Mandrač and continues according to valid timetables towards Markovec, Bolnico. At departures from Bolnica (Markovec) buses will drive till bus stop Pasarela along bus stop Z. P. Godina and Ferrarska till bus stop PH Sonce-AP Koper;
- Lines 4, 9 and 10 will not operate during that time – they will start to operate after 13.30 o’clock;
- Lines 5 and 6 from 8.15 till 14.00 o’clock – departures from Koper will drive from bus stop Supernova, along Ferrarska, cesta Z. P. Godina and Vena Pilona (and stop at bus stop Vena Pilona) till bus stop Markovec Center za Gradom (and drive the circular drive). At departures from Markovec buses will drive on road cesta Vena Pilona (and stop at bus stop Nova K), along cesta Z. P. Godina and Ferrarska till bus stop Supernova;
- Line 7 – departure from Koper will be from bus stop Supernova, and drive along Ferrarska and cesta Z. P. Godina till bus stop Nova and continue on valid timetables (Markovec-Rozmanova) till bus stop Nova, along road cesta Z. P. Godina and Ferrarska till bus stop Supernova;
- Line 8 – departure from Koper will drive from bus stop Supernova, drive along Ferrarska, Ljubljanska till bus stop Stadion, along Tomšičeva ulica (during the time of the road closure Ulice 15. maja, between 8.15 and 8.45 o’clock) till bus stop Rozmanova I and continue according to the valid timetables till bus stop Lesnina, along Ferrarska till bus stop Supernova.
Suburban line Koper-Ankaran-Lazaret meja will on the area of Municipality Koper drive between 8.15 and 13.30 o’clock from AP Koper along Ferrarska, Ljubljanska (and stop at bus stop Stadion) and on the ring (AC) till bus stop Bertoki ZAD and continue according to the valid timetables to Ankaran, Lazaret. At departures from Lazaret (Ankaran) buses will drive till bus stop Bertoki ZAD and on the ring AC to bus station Koper.
Line Koper-Izola-Piran
Between 8.15 and 13.30 o’clock buses will drive from AP Koper-Supernova along Ferrarska, Ljubljanska (and stop at bus stop Stadion), ring (AC) till the temporary bus stop at Prešernova cesta (Izola) at elementary school OŠ Vojke Šmuc and continue till bus stop Belveder and continue according to the valid timetables to Piran. At departures from Piran buses will drive till the temporary bus stop at Prešernova cesta (Izola) and continue till bus stop Koper Mandrač, along cesta Z. P. Godina and Ferrarska till bus stop Supernova-AP Koper.
As additional interruptions will occur prior arrival of contestants, we kindly ask passengers to follow instructions from police and security service. There will be two such disruptions in Koper (picture below), the passage through the roundabout in Jagodje, access to the bus stop in Strunjan and the bus station in Portorož will be disrupted.
During the time of the road closure following bus stops will not be operated:
Trg Brolo, Luka, Sv. Ana, Sv.Ana p.t, Sv. Ana V.n., Kosovelov trg, Banka (both), Zeleni park, Tržnica, Ulica 15.maja, Beblerjeva K, Žusterna III, Krožna, Krožna K, Molet, Žusterna parkirišče and Žusterna (both).
Municipality Izola:
Between 7.00 and 18.00 o’clock bus transport will be redirected due to a complete road closure of Cankarjev drevored at Izola to Prešernova cesta, where 2 supplementary bus stops at elementary school OŠ Vojka Šmuc in direction towards Piran and after the new round about at the concrete barriers in direction towards Koper.
- From approximately 9.30 and till 13.30 o’clock traffic through round about at Jagodje will be disrupted. Traffic will be regulated by the police and security service.
During the time of the road closure bus stop Izola Mehano, Izola, Izola reš.post. and Simonov zaliv in both directions will not be operated.
Municipality Piran:
- At arrival of the contestants’ arrivals at the bus station at Strunjan and in Portorož will be disrupted. Access will be regulated by police and security service.
