Automatic prolongation of IJPP timebound ticket validity

Ministry of Infrastructure signed a decision for automatically extending the validity of monthly, half-year and yearly IJPP tickets, as they currently can’t be used due to public transport temporary being stopped.

On 16 March 2020 public passenger transport in Slovenia was stopped due to coronavirus epidemic.

The minister of infrastructure Mr Jernej Vrtovec signed a decision on the basis of which the validity of IJPP tickets will be extended.

For owners of half-year and yearly IJPP tickets the validity of tickets will be extended at least for the time when public transport did not operate, and for the owners of monthly tickets for at least for number of days in March, that they could not be used.

The details of the decision will be known when the operation starting date of public transport will be known. The prolongation of ticket validity will be done automatically. A visit of selling points will not be necessary.
