On 23 July 2025, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted an amendment to the Regulation on Public Scheduled Passenger Transport in Domestic Road Transport (Annex 3 – Fare Tariff), which will raise the prices of single tickets for Integrated Public Passenger Transport (IJPP) as of 1 August 2025. The prices of periodic tickets used by regular public transport users will remain unchanged. The regulation sets the prices of IJPP tickets valid for both bus and rail passenger transport.
The cheapest single ticket for distances up to five kilometres will increase from €1.30 to €1.50. A single ticket for the longest distance, over 150 kilometres or for the entire territory of Slovenia, will cost €16.50. The adopted adjustment aims to maintain the real value of revenue from ticket sales, which, alongside the state budget, is an important source of funding for the operation and further development of public passenger transport.
The new ticket price list with detailed explanations is published on the Pricelists website.
