The sale of subsidized IJPP tickets for students for the new school year starts on August 21st, and for students on September 21st.

With one ticket in Slovenia

The following are available to students and other eligible persons for travel on intercity buses and trains:

  • the monthly and annual Slovenia ticket,
  • the M10 (K10) ticket, which allows 10 trips per month throughout Slovenia and is available as a monthly or annual ticket.

The Slovenia ticket allows unlimited travel on intercity buses and trains in Slovenia. In addition to the journey between home and school or college, you can also use it for practical training, travel between different addresses of residence, afternoon activities or weekend trips.

The annual ticket for schoolchildren is valid from 1 September to 31 August, and the annual ticket for students from 1 October to 30 September.

Subsidized tickets also for urban transport

In addition to the intercity ticket, beneficiaries can also apply for a subsidized ticket for urban transport or a combined urban ticket.

Subsidized tickets are available for urban transport in Ljubljana, Maribor, Kranj, Koper, Novo mesto, Murska Sobota, Krško and Celje.

New this school year are two new subsidized annual tickets for urban transport in Ljubljana. In addition to the existing combined annual urban tickets (type A+M), the following are also available:

  • Annual 12SUB D for schoolchildren,
  • Annual 12SUB Š for students.

You can find them in the Arriva IJPP online sales under the above-mentioned labels.

If you already have an intercity ticket, the combined city ticket for Kranj, Koper, Novo mesto, Murska Sobota, Krško and Celje is free.

If you do not have an intercity ticket, you can also buy a separate subsidized city transport ticket. For Kranj, Koper, Novo mesto, Krško and Celje, a monthly ticket costs EUR 5, and an annual ticket costs EUR 50. New subsidized annual city tickets are also available in Ljubljana.
