Dear passengers please be informed that due to the cycling race “10.VELIKA NAGRADA SLOVENSKE ISTRE 2024” on March 17, 2024, the operation of public bus transportation on the area of the Municipality of Izola will change:
Traffic will be closed through the center of Izola between 00:00 and 18:00. During this time, buses will drive along Prešernova cesta, stopping at the alternate stop at the Vojka Šmuc elementary school in the direction of Piran, or on the other side of the road along the sidewalk in the direction of Koper.
Between 00:00 and 17:15, traffic will also be disrupted along Prešernova cesta. Traffic will be regulated by mobile barriers and is carried out in accordance with the instructions of the police and the orderly service.
During the closure, the bus stops Izola Mehano, Izola, Izola reš.post will not be operated.
