Please be advised that a cycling marathon in Izola will necessitate temporary road closures and changes to public transport routes.

Closure schedule and area

  • Saturday, 26 September 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00 (Cankarjev drevored, near the event venue).
  • Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 07:00 to 16:00.

Route changes and alternative stop

During the closure periods, buses will not serve the following stops:

  • Mehano Izola
  • Izola
  • Izola reševalna
  • San Simon

Alternative stop: Throughout the closure periods listed above (on both Saturday and Sunday), the alternative stop at OŠ Vojka Šmuc will be in use.

Due to these adjustments, we recommend planning your journey in advance and setting off a little earlier than usual.
