After decades of operation, the Alpetour travel agency continues its journey under a new name. Coinciding with this rebranding, it is introducing new air-travel packages and a special early-booking offer.
Kranj, October 22, 2026 – As of today, the Alpetour travel agency will operate under the name Arriva Travel. This change is part of a broader strategy by the Arriva Group to consolidate its operations under a single, unified brand. Existing bookings, contracts, and business agreements remain valid, and the same team continues to manage the organization and execution of trips. Along with the name change, Arriva Travel is launching new air-travel programs to North Macedonia and Malta, as well as a special early-booking incentive.
Travelers in Slovenia are already familiar with the Arriva name through its public transport services. Now, the company’s tourism division will also operate under this same name. Through this move, the Group aims to increase brand recognition, unify its market presence, and support the further development of its offerings.
Over the decades, Alpetour has built a reputation as a reliable organizer of excursions and travel packages. The team’s experience and expertise remain the foundation of its tourism services, even under the new name.

New air-travel packages and a special launch offer
Along with the name change, Arriva Travel is expanding its range of travel offerings. New additions include air-travel packages to North Macedonia and Malta, which are now open for booking.
These programs feature visits to cultural and historical landmarks, exploration of local characteristics, and outdoor experiences, further broadening Arriva Travel’s portfolio of organized trips.
To mark the launch of the new brand, travelers can take advantage of an “early bird” (First Minute) discount of 50 euros per person on these air-travel packages. This offer applies to bookings made by November 30, 2026, subject to the terms and conditions of each specific program.
