We would like to inform you that due to the Franja Marathon 2026 event, changes will be made to bus services in the area of ​​Ljubljana, Domžale, Škofja Loka, Žirov, Gorenje vas and surrounding roads between Friday, 12 June 2026 and Sunday, 14 June 2026.

Friday, 12 June 2026, between 16:00 and 21:00

Due to the closure of the Ljubljana – Šmartinska – Šentjakob – Domžale route, buses will take the Ljubljana – Črnuče – Trzin – Domžale detour.

Individual stops on Šmartinska cesta and between Šentjakob and Domžale will be omitted.

In Domžale, due to the closure of the center, an alternative stop will be arranged at the Venclja Perka Elementary School on Prešernova ulica.

Saturday, 13. 6. 2026

Between 8:00 and 13:00, short-term closures are possible due to Barjanka, so there may be short delays.

Between 16:00 and 18:30, there will be a complete closure on the BTC – Domžale route due to the Family Marathon. Buses will drive along the Ljubljana – Črnuče – Trzin – Domžale detour.

Sunday, 14. 6. 2026

Due to the Big and Small Marathons, route changes are possible in the Ljubljana area.

The following stops will be omitted:

  • Ruski car
  • AMZS
  • StadionViadukt
  • Friškovec

Until 11:00, buses will drive along the usual route, and between 11:00 and 13:00, they will drive along the Črnuče – Tomačevo – bypass – Celovška cesta – AP Ljubljana detour.

Changes on the Žiri and Gorenja vas routes

The following departures are cancelled:

  • departure 11.15 Škofja Loka – Gorenja vas
  • departure 11.40 Gorenja vas – Škofja Loka
  • departure 13.10 Žiri – Škofja Loka
  • departure 14.10 Škofja Loka – Gorenja vas

Changes on the Škofja Loka – Ljubljana routes

  • Departure 12.10 AP Škofja Loka – Ljubljana is moved to departure 12.10 AP Škofja Loka – Kranj (change in Žabnica).
    • Departure 13.10 AP Škofja Loka – Ljubljana is moved to departure 13.10 AP Škofja Loka – Kranj (change in Žabnica).
    • Departure 14.10 AP Škofja Loka – Ljubljana is operated via Gorajt and Labor.
    • Departures at 11.20, 12.20 and 13.20 from Ljubljana are operated via Kranj Labore to the Stari Dvor stop.

During the closure, the following stops will be closed in the direction of Ljubljana and from Ljubljana:

    • Frankovo
    • Trata MD
    • Škofja Loka ŽP
    • Škofja Loka Kroj
    • Godešič

Changes on the Škofja Loka – Kranj route

  • Departures at 13.10 and 14.10 from Škofja Loka to Kranj are operated via Gorajt.
  • Departure at 13.40 from Kranj to Škofja Loka is operated via Gorajt.

During the closure, the following stops will be closed in the direction of Kranj and from Kranj:

  • Škofja Loka Plevna
  • Stari Dvor
  • Virmaše
  • Sveti Duh
