Within the framework of the Horizon Europe program, we have obtained European grants for the implementation of the JULIA project with the support of the EU Space Agency (EUSPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pilot project in the Municipality of Piran<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the selected areas for the implementation of pilot activities is the Municipality of Piran, where we will establish an adaptive transport service in the Piran countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot project will run from June 29 to August 31, 2026. If there is a good response from users, there is a possibility of extending the service on weekends in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Piran Countryside Route<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lucija TPC \u2013 Parecag \u2013 Se\u010dovlje &nbsp;\u2013 Dragonja \u2013 Sv. of the service is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the JULIA project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The JULIA project (Joint Developments for Urban Resilience Connecting Users to Public Transport Through Space Technology) is being implemented in Slovenia and other European countries, including Catalonia and Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project includes the use of Galileo and Copernicus satellite technologies, which enable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>real-time vehicle tracking,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>passenger notification,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>route optimization using advanced algorithms,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitoring mobility patterns,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supporting sustainable mobility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Duration and locations of pilot
