Here\u2019s what you need to\u00a0know about using Arriva buses and buying tickets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>Ticket\u00a0Options<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 0cm;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>IJPP Card<\/b><br \/>Available only in Slovenia. It allows you to buy tickets online via\u00a0ijpp.arriva.si, but you must first obtain the IJPP card at a larger bus or\u00a0train station (IJPP selling points). The card is not available abroad and\u00a0cannot be shipped.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>Tickets without the IJPP card<\/b><br \/>You can buy single tickets at <a href=\"https:\/\/ijpp.arriva.si\/\">https:\/\/ijpp.arriva.si\/<\/a>\u00a0(Listne vozovnice) or in person at any IJPP selling point (e.g. Ljubljana\u00a0Bus Station, railway station, or major town stations). Payment is possible by card\u00a0(Mastercard, Visa and Diners debit and credit cards) or in cash. If paying in\u00a0cash, we kindly ask that you have the exact fare ready, as drivers may not\u00a0always be able to provide change. During the testing period, we are evaluating both the system\u2019s performance and the overall passenger experience.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"746\">Upon boarding, passengers can pay for their ticket using a contactless Mastercard, Visa, or Diners debit or credit card, as well as via a mobile wallet on their smartphone or smartwatch. Payment is made by tapping the card or device on the payment terminal located next to the driver. The system is secure and fully certified.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"974\">Contactless payment enables faster boarding, reduces waiting times, and relieves drivers of handling cash transactions. Following the pilot phase, card payment will be gradually introduced on additional routes across Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1057\">On all other routes, ticket payment on board is currently available in cash only.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-189786 kc_accordion_section group \"><h3 class=\"kc_accordion_header ui-accordion-header\"><span class=\"ui-accordion-header-icon ui-icon\"><\/span><a href=\"#can-i-transport-my-bicycle\" data-prevent=\"scroll\"><i class=\"\"><\/i> Can I transport my bicycle?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"kc_accordion_content ui-accordion-content kc_clearfix\"><div class=\"kc-panel-body\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-442198 kc_text_block\"><\/p>\n<p>\nTransport of bicycles on a bus is enabled on interurban buses, but only under those conditions:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 the bus has to have a large trunk<br \/>\u2013 there is enough space in the trunk (priority has personal luggage of passengers)<br \/>\u2013 the bicycle is not dirty, so that the luggage of other passengers will not be dirty<br \/>\u2013 a safe storage of bicycles is enabled, so that the luggage of other passengers will not be damaged.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>It is not possible to transport bicycles on heavily occupied lines (Coast, Gorenjska).<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-553146 kc_accordion_wrapper\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-389672 kc_accordion_section group \"><h3 class=\"kc_accordion_header ui-accordion-header\"><span class=\"ui-accordion-header-icon ui-icon\"><\/span><a href=\"#can-i-bring-an-electric-scooter-on-the-bus\" data-prevent=\"scroll\"><i class=\"\"><\/i> Can I bring an electric scooter on the bus?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"kc_accordion_content ui-accordion-content kc_clearfix\"><div class=\"kc-panel-body\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-282573 kc_text_block\"><\/p>\n<p>No. Electric scooters are not allowed on intercity buses for safety reasons. The lithium-ion batteries they contain pose a fire and explosion risk. According to Article 39 of the <em data-start=\"278\" data-end=\"346\">Regulation on the Provision of Public Passenger Transport Services<\/em>, bus staff have the right to refuse luggage that is not suitable for transport. The restriction applies to all vehicles in intercity traffic and is not subject to exceptions or additional payment.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-205164 kc_accordion_section group \"><h3 class=\"kc_accordion_header ui-accordion-header\"><span class=\"ui-accordion-header-icon ui-icon\"><\/span><a href=\"#can-my-pet-travel-with-me\" data-prevent=\"scroll\"><i class=\"\"><\/i> Can my pet travel with me?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"kc_accordion_content ui-accordion-content kc_clearfix\"><div class=\"kc-panel-body\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-887186 kc_text_block\"><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>On interurban buses transport of live animals is not allowed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Exceptions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>police dogs and mountain rescue dogs<\/strong>\u00a0accompanied with a guide. They have to be on a leash and must wear a muzzle. The price is as defined in the price list.<\/li>\n<li><strong>guide dogs for the blind and partially sighted, assistance dogs for the disabled. <\/strong>Transport for them is free of charge. The dogs do not need to wear a muzzle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Transport of the dog is enabled only if the passenger takes full responsibility for him and guaranties that the dog fulfils all conditions according to veterinary legislation (entrance to public spaces and means of public transport).<br \/>Dirty and wet dogs cannot be transported. In case of overcrowding of the bus dogs cannot be transported.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As hand luggage smaller animals can be transported.<\/strong> They have to be in a proper container (transporter as you use to transport your small animal to the veterinarian), so that other passengers are not endangered, obstacle or disrupted and also the animal feels safe.<br \/>Dangerous and poisonous animal cannot be transported.
